In this episode, we interview Matthew Opferkuch, CEO and cofounder of The Laundry Rooms.
 
Opferkuch is a longstanding hotel operator and executive before cofounding The Laundry Rooms in August 2019. He held senior roles including director of F&B, hotel manager and general manager at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts for over 15 years. In 2006, he became the opening general manager for The Hazelton Hotel, Toronto’s first five-star luxury hotel. In 2010, he became the managing director for Pearle Hospitality, a position he held for seven years before acting as the company’s head of development for two more years.
